Last night, I watched “Man On The Moon”. The movie was about a guy who thinks everything in life is funny or should be funny. He makes many mistakes thinking that its a practical joke only to realize that everybody has started hating him now.

One would probably switch off the channel before The End is arrived. But what is most remarkable about that person is his end when he’s diagnosed with lung cancer. Still, he wants to say goodbye to everyone with a funny face. And this is the song he records and is played at his funeral.

One Who Started It All !

Did you know who Pandora was?

As much as it’s hard to believe, women were the ones to bring sufferings to mankind. Funny thing is, its written in Greek Mythology as well. It was Pandora, the first of all women that Zeus created and presented to Prometheus’ brother Epimetheus. Although his brother warned him from accepting gifts from Gods, Epimetheus defied his brother to take in Pandora(and which man wouldn’t after seeing such a beautiful woman like her), and a box that Zeus gifted both of them. It was written specifically “Don’t Open The Box”. Well, how hard it could be? But for women, it’s one thing they always want to do – do what they are told not to! Once when Epimetheus left her alone for a couple of hours, out of her undying curiosity she opened the box and released all evil and illness known to mankind. WTF !

The only thing good in the box was the last thing to get out – HOPE .

So that’s all they do. Even hope is a suffering in today’s world. They give you misery and when you are about to quit they give you hope that things can work out… but again the misery and again the hope. I guess its been their tradition since Pandora…

Titanic For The First Time

I know you’d probably be thinking what an ASS I am !

Seriously who wouldn’t? All these years I saw countless movies including romantic ones but I never bothered about watching Titanic once… Yes I am an ASS not watch the most romantic movie ever made or do people say. A man’s sacrifice is far greater than a woman’s. Of course, without a situation, the sisterhood won’t believe. So many guys whom I know sacrificed so many things during their budding love days but all got something they didn’t deserve – break ups, trust issues that led to break ups, girls who’d start back-bitching about the guy who just became their X, fights between friends because few girls want to manipulate their hubbies, and the list goes on and on…

Well, coming back to the topic… I really enjoyed the movie a lot and now I can see what I had missed out for so long! Hats off to James for a such a film… Believe it or not, there were many scenes when my eyes welled up with tears that wanted to run over a free reign but the broken pieces of my heart managed to keep them from falling… Are there really those kind of girls who’d say “You jump, I jump”? Wish someday, a time would come when I’ll find someone worth dying for… And if I don’t, I’ll have to simply accept that I never tried…

Saturday nit @ Firangi Paani. 4500 bucks lost! Appletini, starters, Tuborg, Carlsberg, Johnnie Walker and Peach Margaritas.

Sunday, the GoodBye Day, still 2 double cheese bursts @ Dominos and a few regular things.

A time I hope all cherished; a time to remember for the rest of our lives…………
